The Punta Cancún Lighthouse is an iconic nautical and photographic landmark in eastern Mexico. Distinguished by its red and white striped tower, it is located at kilometer 9 of the Hotel Zone , offering spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea.

  • Environment: It is a rocky area that is part of a natural reserve (Isla Mujeres, Punta Cancun and Punta Nizuc West Coast National Park).

  • Access: There is no direct street access, as it is surrounded by hotels. It can be reached by walking along the coast from Playa Caracol or Playa Gaviotas.

  • Services: It is a natural and free area, so it does not have facilities, bathrooms or vendors.

  • Visiting tips: This is the perfect place to watch sunrises and sunsets. Due to the intense sun, it's recommended to visit very early (before 10:00 am) or in the late afternoon (after 4:00 pm) and bring water and sunscreen.
